COVID-19 AND LAKE OPTICAL:
Lake Optical is monitoring the recommendations from Centers for Disease Control (CDC) regarding COVID-19 and have implemented additional precautions for the health and safety of our patients. As you know, we work hard on a daily basis to keep our practice as clean and sanitized as possible. We are now asking that all patients assess their personal health condition before coming in. If you are experiencing a fever, cough, or shortness of breath OR if you have recently been on a cruise OR if you have been in contact with anyone that has tested positive for the coronavirus, we ask that you call and reschedule your appointment.
We are inviting all patients to wash their hands immediately before entering the exam room and before handling our frames. We ask that you do not approach the frame boards until a Lake Optical employee can assist you. We are sanitizing every frame that each patient comes in contact with which requires an employee to monitor.
Lastly, we are hoping to stay open as long as possible to serve your eyecare needs. Should we receive a mandatory order to temporarily close or if the owners of Lake Optical feel that we are not fully meeting the level of disinfection and sterilization that we require, we will have to close the practice until it is safe to reopen again. Your safety, and that of our staff, is of the utmost importance to Lake Optical
